Restaurant Review: The Coffee Station

The Coffee Station is more of a cafe than a restaurant but I had to include it here because I think I found a new place to hang out. The Coffee Station is also located on Oregon Pike, only a few doors down from Highland Pizzeria. After enjoying a great meal at the pizzeria, take a stroll to the Coffee Station for some coffee or better yet, frozen hot chocolate!
It's a quaint little place with a large amount of charm. The environment reminds of one of those places on television where our favorite characters hang out like Dean & DeLuca where you can find the group from Felicity or Central Perk where everyone's favorite group of Friends hang out. It's quiet, friendly, and feels like home.
Being the chocolate lover I am, I ordered a frozen hot chocolate and Jeff ordered a white mocha. That was my first good impression right there. If my Jeff walks into a coffee place and orders something other than coffee (and likes it) then that is a pretty special place.
Frozen hot chocolate is so sexy because it such a smooth, silky taste to it. It's not sickening sweet but it does satisfy the sweet tooth craving. It's rare for me to find a place that sells frozen hot chocolate and now that I've found one, I don't want to let it go.
The other great thing about this place is that I feel I can go there to concentrate on my writing. No distractions just my frozen hot chocolate and me. Oh and Jeff and his mobile video games. It's the one place that I don't find my mind wandering to the dramas of life.
The staff is incredibly friendly and also very inviting. It's such sweet harmony. With the pizzeria and this fabulous cafe in one area, I think I found my favorite getaway place.
Whether you're a coffee lover or hot chocolate lover, this is the place for you. Grab a friend or just grab your favorite book, you will feel like you are at home without actually being cooped up all day.
Pull up a chair and relax. You too will look this fabulous at the Coffee Station. Who needs a spa when you have chocolate?
